The voice memo to content workflow

One minute of talking becomes a week of posts.

Step 1: Record

At the end of a job, open your phone's voice memo app and talk for one minute. Answer these:

• What was the job?
• What was the problem when you got there?
• What did you do that most people wouldn't know?
• How did the customer react?

Ramble. It doesn't need to be good.

Step 2: Get the words

Most phones can turn a voice memo into text (on iPhone, open the memo and tap the transcript button). Or upload the audio file straight to ChatGPT.

Step 3: Paste into this prompt

Here is a transcript of me, a small business owner, talking about a job I did today. Turn it into:
1. Five social media posts, each with a hook line and a short caption under 80 words.
2. One longer caption for a photo or video of the job.
3. A short email to my customer list, under 120 words, with one helpful tip from the job.

Keep my words and my way of talking. Plain language. No hashtags. Don't add facts I didn't say.

Read them, delete what doesn't sound like you, and schedule the rest over the week.
