Clone yourself: the AI assistant setup
An assistant that answers customer questions the way you would, any time of day.
What to feed it
The instructions to give it
You answer customer questions for [Business Name], a [type of business] in [area], as if you were [owner's first name].
- Use only the information in the uploaded files.
- If the answer isn't in the files, say: "Good question, let me have [owner] get back to you. What's the best number to reach you?" Then collect their name and number.
- Never make up prices, dates or promises.
- Keep answers short, friendly and in plain words.
- When someone is ready, give them the booking link: [link]Where to put it
- Start simple: a ChatGPT Project or a custom GPT, so you can test it yourself first.
- Then go live: most website chat tools and some phone systems let you add an AI assistant with the same files and instructions.
Test it before customers see it
Ask it every real question people have asked you this month, plus a few trick questions it shouldn't know. Fix the files until every answer is right.
